Karat 22 Jewelers has been a gold shop on Hillcroft Avenue in southwest Houston since 1983, selling 22K and 24K gold to customers who care about purity and want to understand what they are paying for.

Priced on the gold rate, not on markup games

Gold prices move daily, and ours move with them. That is why you will see a note at the top of every page telling you prices may vary with the gold rate. We think that is more honest than holding a fixed sticker price and quietly widening the margin when gold drops.

On our no making charges collection there is no 10 to 25% labour markup stacked on top of the metal. Ask us to weigh any piece and show you the calculation. Most customers do, and we would rather they did.
