For more than 40 years, families have brought their gold to our counter on Hillcroft: wedding sets from another decade, first-salary chains, bangles carried over from India in hand luggage. Bring in the gold you no longer wear, from any jeweler, and put its value toward a new gold or diamond piece. Every piece is tested and weighed in front of you, and we explain the number before you decide anything.
How the exchange works
Four steps, usually in a single visit. Nothing leaves your sight, and nothing is decided for you.
Bring your gold in
Chains, bangles, single earrings, pieces that are broken or simply out of style. Bring a photo ID. No receipt and no minimum weight.
We test and weigh it
Purity is checked and each piece is weighed on the counter where you can see it. We walk you through what we find.
You hear the value
We show you how we reached the number: the day's gold rate, the purity, the condition, and how the piece was made.

Your credit goes toward any gold or diamond jewelry in the showroom. Take your time; there is no need to decide the same day.

What decides the value
No two pieces are alike, so we do not publish one flat rate. The value of your gold depends on:
- Its purity, which we test in front of you
- The condition of the piece
- How and where it was made
- The gold rate on the day you come in
You will hear the number, and the reasoning behind it, before you commit to anything.
Give your gold a new chapter
Your old gold still holds its value. Exchanged here, it becomes something you will love wearing again. On our 22K collection you pay the gold rate with no making charges, so more of your old gold's value stays in gold you keep.

- Everything gold, even broken or single pieces
- No need to untangle, clean or polish anything
- Keep back anything sentimental; you never have to bring it all

Questions people ask
Do I need the original receipt?
No. The jewelry and a photo ID are enough.
Is there a minimum weight?
None. A single broken earring is worth bringing in.
Does the gold have to be from Karat 22?
No. We take gold from any jeweler, whether it was bought here or overseas.
Which karats do you accept?
All of them. Whether it is 24K, 22K, 18K, 14K or 10K, we test it in front of you and value it accordingly.
What if my piece has stones in it?
Bring it. We accept pieces set with precious stones and will explain how they affect the value.
What can I put the credit toward?
Any gold or diamond jewelry in the showroom, from a daily-wear chain to a full bridal set.
Why do you need my ID?
Texas requires a registered dealer to record who a piece came from. We are registered with the Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner.
How long does it take?
Most exchanges are finished in one visit. For a larger collection, call ahead so we can give it the time it deserves.
Do I have to exchange everything at once?
No. Many families bring part of a set, keep the rest, and return later. That is completely normal here.
